With the holiday season just around the corner, shopping malls across the United States will soon be packed to the rafters. So, out of all the thousands of malls in the country, just which ones are the most crowded?

If long lines and hard-to-find parking aren’t exactly your thing, you may want to avoid these malls, especially during the busy holiday shopping season.

According to IsItPacked, here’s the list of the top ten busiest shopping malls in America.

10. Roosevelt Field – Garden City, New York

One of the largest malls in the country, Roosevelt Field boasts just about every store under the sun. With over 290 stores, the 6 anchor stores include Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, JCPenney, Bloomingdale’s Furniture Gallery, and Dick’s Sporting Goods.

9. Del Amo Fashion Center – Torrance, California

There’s a flurry of shopping malls in and around the Los Angeles area, but the Del Amo Fashion Center is in a class of its own. The mall has about 3 million square feet of total retail floor area and 300 stores and services in total.

Its anchor stores include Macy’s, Sears, JCPenney, Marshalls, T.J. Maxx, Burlington Coat Factory, and AMC Theatres.

8. Tysons Corner Center – McLean, Virginia

The largest shopping mall in the Baltimore-Washington area, Tysons is home to over 300 stores, including the first Apple Store. So, what makes this mall so busy? It’s most likely its location, just 7 miles from the the Central Business District of Washington D.C.

7. Woodfield Mall – Schaumburg, Illinois

The Chicago area’s largest shopping mall, Woodfield is sometimes considered one of the most popular major tourist destinations in all of the state of Illinois. The malls 300 stores and restaurants attract huge crowds all year.

The Galleria attracts over 30 million visitors every year, making it one of the most visited attractions in the Houston area. There’s over 375 stores, with anchor stores including Nordstrom, two Macy’s, Neiman Marcus, and Saks Fifth Avenue.

3. Palisades Center – West Nyack, New York

Ranked the tenth largest shopping mall in the U.S., Palisades Center boasts more than 400 stores and is known to be packed with visitors. Parking is generally a nightmare, especially on weekends.

The mall has four levels, with anchor store including Target, AMC Theatres, JCPenney, Lord & Taylor, Barnes & Noble, Macy’s, The Home Depot, and BJ’s Wholesale Club.

2. King of Prussia Mall – King of Prussia, Pennsylvania

The largest shopping mall in the United States, King of Prussia is like two huge malls combined. The mall consists of two massive sections, forming the country’s largest shopping location in one location and making it a popular tourist destination, too.

There’s over 400 stores, including anchors JCPenney, Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Sears, Lord & Taylor, Neiman Marcus, and Nordstrom.

1. Mall of America – Bloomington, Minnesota

Just behind King of Prussia as the largest mall, the famous Mall of America still holds the title for the biggest in terms of retail space and is arguably the busiest mall in the country.

With over 500 stores, anchors include Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, Sears, Nickelodeon Universe, AMC Theatres, Underwater Adventures Aquarium, and IKEA.
