How It Works

Instead of trying to to rate various crowd levels on a scale of 1 to 10, we use a simple color-coded system with four different stages.

Forget About It:

Yup, It’s Packed:

Hey, It’s Alright:

Ghost Town:

  1. Would you say president’s day weekend 2014 would be very busy?

  2. Going to disneyland and DCA next Thursday and Friday. Will DCA be crowded on Thursday and will disneyland be crowded on Friday? And how long are the lines in disneyland when it’s “hey it’s alright”?

  3. “Hey, It’s Alright” usually means around 30min waits. I don’t think DCA will be too crowded on Thursday. Disneyland might be busier on Friday, so try to get there in the morning for shorter lines.

  4. Going to SFMM next week, Should I go on Thursday the 17th or Friday the 18th? Or should there not be much of a difference?

  5. SFMM is closed next Thursday. I don’t think it will be too crowded during the day on Friday, but it should pick up in the evening for Fright Fest.

  6. What does hey it’s alright mean? Will it be a 45 minute wait for full throttle like last sunday?

  7. That means manageable crowds. Full Throttle might be the same as last week though since it’s popular.

  8. What do the 4 stages of crowds mean in terms of wait times?
I know it’s early but I’m going to DL/DCA for my honeymoon Sept 14-20, 2014. I’m going to get 7 days worth of park tickets so I can have lots of time in the parks! That time of year is generally quieter, right?
