How It Works

Instead of trying to to rate various crowd levels on a scale of 1 to 10, we use a simple color-coded system with four different stages.

  2. We’re going to Six Flags Magic Mountain for Friday. Fingers crossed it’s not a madhouse!

    what would the waits look like?
    would Tuesday be better?

  4. I’d expect SFMM to be busy on that day since it’s the summer. There shouldn’t be much of a difference between Monday and Tuesday. The waits are usually 1-hour+ for the coasters.

    when i get there i plan on running to tatsu

    if i get there 5 min after it opens how long will the wait be?

    also for x2

    basically how fast do the lines build up for X2 and Tastu
    how many cars will they run for scream and riddlers revenge and how long do u think the lines for those will be? will full throttle be crowded if it opens?

  6. That’s what we do, run to Tatsu or X2 since they’re usually the longest. If you get there early, the line shouldn’t be long at all, maybe 15min tops. Not sure how many cars, but Scream and RR have been 40-60min. Full Throttle will most likely have the longest line if open, probably 2+ hours.

    im so used to it being no line and i hate lines

    so ill ride tastu then viper (since its on the way to X2), then x2 then full throttle then RR then batman then scream, then goliath, then whatever

    my only question is if i stop at viper on the way to X2, will the line become significantly longer in X2

  9. I’d skip Viper actually since X2 usually has one of the longest lines in the park. Tatsu is my favorite!

  10. awesome so ill do tatsu then x2 then full throttle and go to around the park counter clockwise
    i guess ill ride viper later in the day
    also full throttle is opening june 22nd!
    i also think that x2 is over rated
    but… is the line worth it for superman?
    is it worth waiting like 4 hours for x2?
