We’ve seen around an hour waits on busy days. We’ve gone in the morning before and only waited about 20 minutes though. I recommend getting there early and if the line is a little too long for you guys, you can just get Fastpasses and come back later without having to wait very long.
What about May 8th? Will it be busy?
I don’t think it will be too crowded. Early May is usually manageable since the summer season crowds aren’t out. Fridays tend to get a little busier in the evening though.
Planning a trip with the family for this Thursday May 7th. Will it be packed? I notice lots of star wars events. Will they still be going on during the 7th?
Also what about the Tinkerbell marathon, will it effect the crowds in both parks?
It shouldn’t be too packed. I don’t think the Star Wars events or the marathon will affect the crowds too much on Thursday.
Planning a trip to DLR 9/13-9/18. Just found out Dapper Days start on 9/18. Will both Disneyland and California Adventure be packed? We are doing 5 days at both parks and 1 day at Universal Studios. Should we make our Universal day be Friday 9/18 to avoid the Dapper Day crowd? Our kids are 8 and 10. Any thoughts/suggestions would be great! Thanks.
I think going to Universal Studios on that Friday would be a good idea. Dapper Day usually makes both parks more crowded than usual. Universal is expected to be more manageable on that day too.
Wait for Tower of Terror is already over an hour!

We are planning on going to CA Adventure this Friday, May 8th. The forecast is for 50% chance of rain. Do the rides that are outdoors close when it is raining? Thanks in advance.
