Yes, NEVER go to Disneyland on a Grad Nite! There is just a bunch of loud and obnoxious teens all over the place. They should just keep the event as a private party after the park closes like they used to.
Thinking of going Father’s Day and the Monday after. Any predictions on how crowded it will be?
The middle of June is expected to be crowded since the summer season crowds will be out by then. Try to get there early!
Do you guys think the higher ticket prices will make Disneyland less crowded over the summer? That’s what I’m hoping for!
I doubt it. They always raise their prices, and that doesn’t stop the crowds from coming out.
Disney always jacks up their prices 4% before the busy summer season. I don’t think a few dollars more for a ticket will hurt attendance much, but it’s getting tougher and tougher to renew the annual passes every year.
The price hike will have no effect on the crowds. Everyone already knows that Disneyland tickets are expensive.
That’s not true. When they raise prices, less people buy or renew their annual passports. So it might not affect how crowded it is right now, but it can help keep the crowds down a bit in the long run.
I laugh when people think a $4 increase will make it less crowded. Disneyland and DCA was a madhouse on Sunday, long lines and big crowds all around. Plus, it’s not even officially the summer season yet. They’ll keep raising their prices as long as people will pay it.
I have to agree, I’m not a fan of the Grad Nite crowd. You can go in the morning to avoid most of them though.
