I think it’s the combination of the higher ticket prices, the annual passport blockout dates over these few months, and the removal of the SoCal APs that have kept attendance low so far this summer season. I remember when 75, 90, and 120min wait times were the norm in the summer.
How long do you think these low crowds are going to last? I’m planning on going July 15th through July 22nd and I’m wondering if I’ll experience the same wait times? Maybe the 59th anniversary might cause the crowds to pick up?
I don’t think the anniversary will affect the crowds much. It’s hard to say if the low attendance will continue through the month, but from what things have been so far this season, I’m thinking it’s not going to be crazy.
I’m guessing the lack of any major new attractions this year is why the crowds are so low. Seems like everyone has already seen Cars Land. Disneyland was practically empty for a holiday weekend during the summer season.
Do you think it will be crowded July 7th or 8th?
It’s been very manageable so far this season, so I’m thinking it won’t be too bad!
hi everyone, any ideas on crowds in September? I’m going September 21st-26th with a 1 park per day pass, and I’m not sure what it’ll be like on each day and which day I should do which park. Thank a for any help!
It’s usually slow in September, so it shouldn’t be crowded at all. Weekdays (Monday-Thursday) would be your best bet for the lightest crowds. I don’t think there’ll be a difference which day you go to which park because it’s always very manageable that time of the year.
Planning to go to July 11th a friday. Any idea how the crowds will be?
It usually gets busier in the evening on Fridays, but I don’t think it will be too packed during the day.
