It shouldn’t be too crowded that week. The summer season crowds traditionally die down by then since schools go back in session.
I think so. Next month is usually when it starts to get slower. Just avoid August 18-22 since that’s when AP blockouts are lifted.
The summer season crowds have been out this week, so I’d be prepared for it to be busy again tomorrow. It hasn’t been crazy packed though.
I would say it’s peak summer season right now at Disneyland. The summer crowds have definitely been out and about. Even Saturday was busier than usual.

It’s expected to still be busy on the first week of August. The following week is usually when the summer crowds start to die down.
