The friend and I are juggling between Monday and Tuesday again the 15th and 16th. The upside to going on Tuesday is the rainy weather might keep crowds away. The downside is the rainy weather. Is it worth braving the rain for possibly smaller crowds or should we play it safe and go on monday to get the full enjoyment?
Will all the rides still be working?
I would strongly suggest not going on the 18th. That is the last day So. Cal select passholders can go before being blocked for a few weeks and it’s notoriously one worst days of the year for crowds.
How is the crowd on Dec 13th Saturday? Will all rides be open and any special holiday attractions?
Pretty much all the rides are open on rainy days, except for Mad Tea Party.
I personally love going in the rain, it doesn’t bother us at all. It was raining today and there were no crowds at all. You could walk on all the rides, no lines! Just bring a poncho/raincoat and you should be fine.
Saturdays are usually crowded since it’s the holiday season right now. All the rides should be open though. Haunted Mansion and it’s a small world have holiday overlays. There’s also the Christmas Fantasy Parade and holiday fireworks going on right now.
Does anyone have experience going the last day of the Christmas Season at Disneyland which falls on Jan 6th? Do you know if it will be very busy? Thanks for the advice!!!
I’d be prepared for it to be a little busy since some schools are still on winter break that week. Annual passes are also valid again that week, so lots of passholders are expected. I don’t think it will be too crazy though. Hopefully most of the crowds arrive on Sunday and Monday.
I went January 6th I believe 2 years ago and it wasn’t that bad. Since it falls on a Tuesday all schools should be back in session January 5th.
