Disneyland is way too crowded today! They are not letting anyone inside anymore. California Adventure is still open.
Stay away from Disneyland if you’re planning on coming. I’ve never seen it more packed in my life. Every line is over an hour and all the walkways are jammed with people. It’s definitely not worth it to go today!

Yikes!!! I’m glad we didn’t go today! It looks like a madhouse out there.
Question for all you Disney experts: does stopping admission to the park happen a lot or is this a rare occurrence? Also, will they open the park again anytime soon? Thanks!!
It’s not uncommon for the park to hit capacity on Christmas week through New Year’s. It’s been happening for the past couple of years. The park usually reopens in a few hours once the crowds start to die down.
Last I heard is that Disneyland is closed until 4pm. I think it will be fully open again in the evening. You can still go to DCA, which is a lot more manageable right now.
In California adventure because have no choice.
They are letting in people who are staying at the hotel and have dinner reservations but not season ticket holders that pay $750 a year. You can buy an additional pas for $100 that let’s you in at a certain time. This place is a joke now. Season pass means nothing and they don’t care one bit. If it’s at capacity for our safety then hotel guests shouldn’t be able to fit should they? Nor should paying an extra $200. Kiss my rear end Mickey.
$750 to come practically ANYTIME you want the entire year and you are upset because out of towners can go the park today when it’s full on ONE DAY?

Today might not have been one of the best days to go, but we still had fun. We are definitely going early tomorrow though. I wouldn’t be surprised if Disneyland reaches full capacity again!
