Crowd Guide

  1. The Spring Break season crowds are out, so it’s expected to be busy tomorrow. It’s usually more manageable if you get there in the morning though.

  2. I think October 23 would be best. Some schools have a break in the middle of October, so it’s usually more crowded around that time. I highly recommend Mickey’s Halloween Party. Ticket sales are limited, so it doesn’t get too packed. The crowds and lines have always been manageable when we go. Just be sure to get your tickets early when they become available because they sell out fast.

  3. Disneyland is definitely worth it! We’ve gone the week of October 15th the past three years and it’s always been smaller crowds. We found that the Fridays that have a Halloween party scheduled are busy. Hope you have fun on your visit!

  4. thanks Lena, so October 15th gets your vote OR we could do the Halloween party on Friday the 23rd and accept the larger crowds and it also allows us to enter 3 hours before the party starts. Have you been to a Halloween party at Disneyland?

When you write “smaller crowds” in the week of October 15th how does that translate to waiting times in the queues? Our friends told us they had to wait over an hour but that was in summer peak time.

  5. thank you too Liz, great response times on this forum!

Do you know when tickets for Mickey’s Halloween Party become available please? I checked Disneyland’s website and they’re not available yet.

Also, do you know the price for each ticket, approximately? I understand they’re cheaper than a full day pass.

I checked Wikipedia.com and it says the fall school break is mid October and in the week of Columbus Day, which is the second Monday of October.

So I checked the 2015 calendar and yes, you are correct. This will therefore impact us if we visit October 15th, thanks for pointing that out!

  6. Tickets usually go on sale at the end of July. They were $63-$70 last year.

  7. Planning on going Monday how will the crowd be since it’s Spring break?

  8. A lot of schools are out for Spring Break this week, so I’d be prepared for it to be crowded. Get there early! It should be more manageable in the morning.

  9. Planning to go on Tuesday in the afternoon, will it be crowded?

  10. It’s expected to be crowded on Tuesday. A lot of schools have this week off for Spring Break.
