We will be visiting Disneyland April 23-25, what should we expect as far as crowds?
I don’t think it will be too crowded on those days. Saturday might be busier, but I’m still thinking it will be manageable since the Spring Break season will be over by then.
Why does Disneyland’s website say that the park closes at 7:30 first week of May, then 8 Pm the following week and so on? Is it just season hours or what? Thanks in advance.
I was wondering the same thing. It’s showing closings at 7:30pm now instead of the usual 8:00pm. It might have something to do with the 60th Anniversary or Grad Nite preparations.
Howdy! I’m trying to decide on which week to go to Disneyland (on a weekday) when it’s the least busy after all the spring break crowds, preferably between the last 2 weeks of April(20-22 or 27-29) or the 2nd week of May(11-13). I heard the Hatbox Ghost will be appearing at the The Haunted Mansion May 9thish, does anyone think that will draw larger crowds, even during the week? Thank you to anyone who enlightens me. 🙂
They are doing rehearsals for the new Paint the Night Parade on 4/28, 4/30, 5/4, 5/6, 5/7, 5/11, 5/12, and 5/19. DCA will stay open until 9:00pm on those days.
The last two weeks of April should be more manageable than May since there are no summer season or Grad Nite crowds out yet. The last week of April is usually least crowded. I’m thinking the Hatbox Ghost won’t affect the crowds at the park too much, but the line for Haunted Mansion will definitely be longer.

How will May 12 or 19 (Tuesday) be at the park??? Any rides shut down or will be the castle be construction???
Peter Pan and Matterhorn are scheduled to be closed on May 12. Just Peter Pan is scheduled to be closed on May 19. I’m not sure if the castle will be under construction then. I don’t think it will be too packed on those days since the big summer season crowds usually aren’t out yet and those aren’t Grad Nite days.
