Anyone have thoughts on how crowded Disneyland (So. Cal) will be on that Thursday before memorial day (May 21st)? I know that Friday through Monday on Memorial Day will be bad, but just wondering about that Thursday.

I’m thinking it won’t be too packed since most of the big crowds should arrive the next day. It’s usually busy but manageable on the weekdays after Memorial Day. The park also closes early (6:00pm) to get ready for the 60th Anniversary Celebration.

Thoughts on Thursday May 28th? Its NOT a grand night day, not much happening at the Convention Center, but it IS just a week after the start of the 60th.
….that should say “not a GRAD night”.
The summer season crowds are usually out by June, so I’d be prepared for it to be busy on that day. I’m thinking it won’t be too crazy though since it’s still early in the season. Get there early!
The 60th Anniversary might make that week a little more crowded than usual this year. I’m still thinking it will be a good time to go though since the big summer season crowds usually aren’t out yet on the weekdays after Memorial Day. It’s always better than going on the following weeks.
Thank you Liz for your thoughts. Its not 100% that we’re going (I still have to pop the idea on my wife – are are locals – and see if the budget allows), but I’m hoping to.

Anyone know why the park says closed at 7:30 on April 28th? 🙁
