Why are the gates still closed if crowds are “alright” right now?? DCA is getting full.

I’d be prepared for it to be very busy. The summer season crowds should be out for the Diamond Celebration and it’s also a Grad Nite day, which usually makes the parks more crowded in the afternoon/evening. Definitely get there early! It should be more manageable in the morning.
I know it is not recommended, but has anyone ever purchased Disneyland tickets from offerup or craigslist? We are visiting this weekend and would love to take our daughter tomorrow and there are some “good deals” floating around out there but then again they aren’t good if they are fake tickets.
I’ve never done that before, but I highly recommend avoiding those because there’s no way to verify if those tickets are legitimate or not. There’s always guests who buy their tickets from someone online only to find out that they are invalid at the gates.
