I think it will be manageable. Most schools will be back in session by then.
Has anyone done Disneyland during Fall Dapper Days? My family (me, husband, and 4yo son) are going the week of September 14 and we’re trying to decide if we should do 4 days or risk the crowds and go 5 days (the last day being Friday 18th which is Dapper Day) I use to be a local so I have a general understanding of Disneyland crowds but I always avoided convention days in the past. I just don’t want our last day to be so crowded that it’s hard to get on anything and frustrating for my son. I would hate to end our trip on a low note.
From my experience, Dapper Days makes the parks noticeably busier than usual, especially on Friday. I’m thinking 4 days would be enough to enjoy everything. That week in September usually isn’t crowded at all.
