What is going on at the park Dec 3 and 4, 2015?
Hotels are usually booked around that time for the Halloween season. That’s the first few days of the Mickey’s Halloween Party event.
I don’t know about anything special going on then. That Thursday usually isn’t too bad, but Fridays in December are busy for the holiday season.

The week before Columbus Day Weekend has been busier in the past, so think October 21-23 will be better. Get there early!

What are the crowds usually like on Mon- Wednesday the week of Thanksgiving? I noticed there are no block out dates on the annual passports those days. Does that indicate that it could be slower on those days?
