Liz…our next visit is scheduled for 10/11, which is the day of the Choc Walk, and the parks don’t open until 10:00. How crowded are things in the morning? Is the Mickey and Friends lot open or will we be diverted?
Traffic and parking can get pretty bad in the morning for those events. I’m not sure If Mickey and Friends will be, but they do usually divert traffic to the other lots for marathons.
What will the crowds be like tomorrow, since it may rain?
I think it will be more manageable tomorrow if it rains. Rain usually keeps the big crowds away.
If Disney was serious about making the parks less crowded, they would get rid of the monthly payment plans for APs. That’s the real reason it’s too packed. Raising ticket prices won’t solve anything.
I completely agree! There are way too many annual passholders. They keep raising the prices, but it has no effect.
I don’t know why people keep thinking the higher prices will make the parks less crowded. They’ve been increasing prices for years and it’s as packed as ever. I have noticed that the number of Ghost Town days have gotten fewer and fewer.

Couple years ago tickets where $80 and it was crazy packed … Now they’re $100 and guess what? Its still packed 🙂
Disneyland is hella expensive yet magical… Oh well . Even with $300 dollar tickets people from all over the world will still be going !
