  1. Yup I agree.. for some reason it seems to always be busy . Especially Friday-Sunday?

  2. We are going this Saturday the 21st. I heard it will be crazy busy,but hoping it won’t be horrible as I think the two lower level annual passes are blocked that day. The park opens at 8am and I never been there when the gates open, but was thinking of being there for just before 8am.Is it a good idea or are the lines to get in really crowded as soon as it opens?

  3. Thinking about getting a Park Hopper pass for New Year’s Day. What are the chances we start at Disneyland and try to go to California adventures around noon and it has already reached max capacity?

  4. Yes, you should be there when the gates open. Don’t be worried if you see super long lines at the gate, they move quickly, but would hit up Tomorrowland as soon as you get into the park , then get on the main attractions. There’s a cheer competition going on that weekend,so it may be busier because of that. Good luck!

  5. This year might always be different, but Disneyland usually doesn’t reach capacity on New Year’s Day. It’s still very busy, but more manageable than the days before. I’d definitely go to Disneyland first, then California Adventure later in the day. I’m not sure you’ll be able to get everything done though by noon. Get there early!

  7. Yes, it’s expected to be very crowded. The week of Thanksgiving is one of the busiest times of the year. Get there early!

  9. Yes, Christmas Eve is usually very crowded. The park may reach capacity that week. Get there early!

  10. Planning to go on Jan 5 or 6 just to beat the crowds. Do you think it would be crowded if it’s the last day for winter decorations to be up?
