How will it be tomorrow, Sat Sept 17?
It’s expected to be fairly crowded on Saturday. 30-60min waits is the norm. Get there early!
Never been to Disneyland only WDW. Going on Tues Sept 27. Crowd calendar says “Hey, it’s alright”. Would you recommend getting there at rope drop and staying all day to see everything or will we make it through with flying colors? Also, which places would you recommend for fast passes on days like that? Wondering how long of a wait for rides like Space Mountain, Big Thunder, etc.?
You probably don’t need to be there at rope drop, but I would still get there early. You should be able to get everything done. I recommend Fast Passes for Space Mountain and Indiana Jones. Around 30min waits or so is the norm.
Space mountain , haunted mansion always 60+, fast pass system at Disneyland is no where as Efficient as WDW is , Space mountain Is by far the best one to get you skip 90% of the line , other fast pass you skip like only 50% of the line, and personally if getting there at Rope drop is an option I would do it.
The day you are going is the magic hour for Disneyland so unless you are staying at one of the Disneyland resort hotels, those guests are going to be in the park an hour earlier than you. It is always wise to get in at rope drop, if you have little ones hit up the Fantasyland rides first, if no little ones, go either Star Tours, fast pass Space mountain and ride Matterhorn. Head over to Adventure landfast pass Indiana Jones and go to Thunder mountain. It’s probably going to be over 90 degrees so it would be nice to take a break in the late afternoon to recharge for the night.
What is happening on Oct 8th and Dec 3rd? The forecast says forget about it but I’m curious what is happening those days.
I don’t think anything special is going on. Saturdays in October are just usually very busy for the Halloween season. Same with Saturdays in December for the holiday season.
Diamond Days are over! Hallelujah! Far less crowded than this time last year. Mickey’s Halloween Party, here we come.
