We are planning on going January 3 as well. Since California kids will be back in school, as will many other kids in the US, I’m HOPING it will be a tad bit manageable!!! Otherwise- fastpass, here we come!
Take notice on possible crowded day and Disneyland Park traffic due to Star Wars themed Marathon. They block off certain parts of Main street since the marathon goes into parks. Marathon happens at Jan. 12-15.
The largest school district (LAUSD) doesn’t go back in session until January 9, unfortunately. The good news though is that annual pass blockouts are lifted on the following days (January 4, 5, 6), so you’ll hopefully be avoiding those crowds.
So pirates is going to be closed that week and that is one of our favs.
What about February 27- March 3rd? How do those dates look do I have to worry about president day crowds? Or anything else going on?
It should be fine that week. That’s after Presidents Day week and before Spring Break season, so it’s usually manageable.

It’s still expected to be fairly crowded tomorrow. I’m thinking it will be manageable in the morning though!
