Crowd Guide

  1. people actually complaining about the crowds is the joke! please do yourself a favor and if you’re going to spend THOUSANDS of dollars to come down to a crowded park!! please do your research! know how to beat the crowds! know what rides lines go down faster! take advantage of the fast pass system… its simple! dont just be dumb idiots and book plane tickets and hotel to come here and expect ever single ride to not have a waiting time… dont be ridiculous! as they very commonly say! EARLY BIRD CATCHES THE WORM!! 😉

  2. What research is there to do , DL is always busy unless it’s pouring rain.

  3. You must be an absolute joy at parties

  4. I’m planning on visiting DL around Labor Day (the week before, likely). My schedule is flexible so I plan on avoiding the marathon days and Labor Day itself by going on week days. My question for anyone here is: do marathon crowds result in increased crowding in the days before or after this weekend? I’d like to go the week before Labor Day because I know they start closing rides right after, but I also don’t want to go when the park is completely full.
    Thanks in advance!

  5. Marathons don’t really affect the crowds at the parks too much, from my experience. The week before Labor Day is usually fairly manageable, but the crowds do pick up on Friday for the holiday weekend.

  6. I’m thinking of heading to Disney for the first time in awhile on (or around) the 27th of April (also considering the 25th or 26th), and again for a mini vacation between the 1st and 4th of May. I know that these are supposed Ghost Town and Hey, It’s Alright days, but how does everyone think the crowds will be? I’m not great with MASSIVE crowds due to claustrophobia and the general appreciation of personal space, so are these days more conducive toward that? I know a lot of people have noted that crowds have been insane lately, so I’m hoping maybe things will calm down by then. Thanks all!

  7. There’s a ticket promotion going on for locals that’s making the park more crowded, so it’s tough to say exactly how bad it will be. That should be the most manageable time to go though since that’s after the Spring Break season and before Grad Nite days start. I’m thinking it won’t be as crazy as later on.

  8. Would it be better to go to Disneyland the week of June 4th(when none of the annual pass holders are blocked out) or the week of June 11th(when some of the Southern California annual passes are blocked but LA schools are out)?

  9. I say June 4th because schools are so close to getting out that parents won’t be pulling their kids so close to summer break
