Need advice. Going to Disney, DCA, and Universal one park each day over Jan 18-20 (Thursday – Saturday). What day should we do disneyland? Is it better to do Thursday because it’s least crowded, or Saturday because of the longer hours? Then maybe Friday for Universal? Thank you!
I would go to Disneyland on Saturday for the longer hours since it usually isn’t very crowded then. I would probably just do DCA on Friday so you don’t have to go back and forth, but Universal on Friday should be fine too.
How bad is it the week after Thanksgiving? Pretty open on days but not sure which the best would be/
That’s the best time to go from now until the end of the year. I think Tuesday or Wednesday would be best.
Is it totally a dumb idea to attempt Disneyland on Sat 12/2??
It will be crowded, but if you must go on a Saturday, that’s probably the best Saturday to go until New Year’s. It’s always better to go earlier in the season, so the first weekend of December is usually most manageable.
It wasn’t too bad actually. It had rained earlier in the morning, so the crowds were a bit on the light side (no pun intended), but by lunch time it was getting a bit crowded. Star Tours was over an hr long wait so I bypassed that, but Tomorrowland as a whole was crowded. I also had a good view of the parade near City Hall.
Will it be crowded Fri 12/1 or Sun 12/3?
Both days should be crowded, but it should be better than going on Saturday. Friday is usually fairly manageable during the day, but it picks up in the afternoon.
According to the crowd calendar, 12/12 and 12/13 is a best bet. Is that reliable and if so, how crowded will it actually be?
