Crowd Guide

  1. I think June 29-30 would be best. July 1 shouldn’t be too bad either. July 2 is probably worst since more annual passes are valid and some people may that day off as a holiday weekend.

  2. How accurate do you all find Is it Packed? It says on June 23 “Forget about it,” but my friend went 6/22-6/24 and said that Sat, 6/23 was the best day, with less crowds and that Sun was the worst. I’m going in a couple weeks. I’m sure it’ll be bad :-/

  3. Pixar Pier opened on Saturday, so I think a lot of the crowds went to DCA instead of Disneyland. I don’t think the grand opening was as crazy as it was expected to be either. Weekends are usually better this time of the year since a lot of annual passes are blocked out.

  4. Hi, between July 4th-7th when will be the best day to go?

  5. In the Mickey and Friends parking lot, just like everyone else, but you walk to the park instead of waiting in line for trams…and that side security gate is ALWAYS empty during the daytime

  6. We went on June 4, (an alright/Best Bet day by the calendar) and the place was so full you couldn’t find a quiet place to sit and pass time. We did get on the rides, but there were so many people you could hardly walk anywhere, or get my husband’s scooter parked. This was not the experience we had had in earlier visits where it was more park like. Our belief is that they should have capped the entrance about 20K people earlier. We bought meals, but wished we had brought food in. There was nowhere to sit. In the evening, they were closing tables even as there were people in line for food. There was a lot of holding tables for the fireworks.

  7. The site is accurate as it can be it’s all guesses . there 24 million people in southern california and if you google Disneyland crowds this site comes up first So it has to have good traffic. so if the site plans for a day to be a ghost town . Good chance a.lot of people read that and it’s going to be packed anyways. these days the only time the park isn’t busy is when all the passes are blocked out and not a Holiday . the next 5-6 Saturdays probably be the best time to go all year.

  8. Disneyland hasn’t been too crowded this summer season for the most part. I think most people are just waiting for Star Wars Land to open next year.

  9. Disneyland is not crowded for once. It’s a great time to go!
