How will December 16-18 be (Sunday thru Tuesday)? Will they or the following Wed, Thurs, Friday be less packed? Planning a three-day stay.
It’s usually crowded on that week since it’s peak holiday season. For a three-day stay, I would do Monday-Wednesday to avoid the weekend and go earlier in the week. It tends to get worse closer to Christmas.
Hi! Should next Wednesday Dec. 28 not be too horrible? Any insight on how long wait times will be? Which rides have the longest wait times that we should try to get to first?
Has anyone gone to Disneyland January 2-6? How crowded is it?
I was there January 6, 2015 (and 1999) and a Jan 2. It’s not crowded that week because EVERYBODY went the week before. Yet in 2015 I was able to get the holiday entertainment (last day of the Chr. Parade).

The usual rides have the longest wait, except (being winter), people aren’t into Splash Mt. or Grizzly river run.
The UNusual long waits are rides that have holiday changes (Haunted Mansion will be an hour wait most of the day. and Small world.
How crowded will it be for the 9:00 showing of Fantasmic on Friday Nov 30th? Would we be better off getting a dining package? I want it to be amazing for my son’s bday which will also be his first time seeing it. Thanks!
The 9:00pm show is pretty much always crowded on Fridays, so I would go with the dining package just to be safe.
When is the best time to go between now and Christmas? We don’t want to go when it gets too crazy! Thanks!
Next week would definitely be best. I would go on Tuesday or Wednesday. After next week is when you really want to avoid going!
