I don’t think there’s anything special going on. Mondays just tend to be more crowded since it’s the start of the week and when the weekday tickets are valid. The park also closes early on Tuesday for a special event, so more people might be going on the day before.
My guess is it’s because the park closes early the next day, so people with weekday tickets are going on that day.
Just as I told you a year ago, the passholder program returned, without it, you’d be getting about 12 hours a week in the offseason “Sunshine”! You chose the wrong company to work for with that attitude, and I have more Castmember friends than I can count
Honestly, not worth going to dland at all currently and this is coming from a season pass holder. Save your money.
Went on 4/23/23.
1. Stood in line for 40 minutes for pirates. Shut down before we got on
2. Got on Indiana. Got stuck for 40 minutes and had to get off ride.
3. Fast pass asked us to return to toon town at 821pm. Got there 821pm and was told toon town closes at 8pm.
4. Walked all the way to to space mountain from toon town only to find out space mountain was closed.
5. Splash mountain was closed.
6. Few days before dragon in fantasmoc burns down.
7. Few days before dland wifi shuts down. People can’t get into park for hours.
Went to city hall to complain. Was told they did much better then expected and nothing will be offered.
Completely agree. We’re outa state. Spend LOTS more on hotels, etc.
I’m guessing it will be more “Packed” than “Forget About It,” but the heat might be keeping the really big crowds away this week. Hard to tell for sure what it will be like then, but it seems like the popular rides have been getting really long lines (60min+) while everything else is 15-20min. So the parks have been crowded for sure, but not crazy.
Any updates to the forecast based on recent trends? Specifically are crowd levels on 7/31 and 8/1 still likely to be at “forget about it” levels? Or is “packed” more likely?
I’ve been tracking the real time crowd reports and comparing against the forecast and that’s what I’ve been seeing too. Keeping my fingers crossed it won’t be too bad.

Do kids have Halloween off school in the area? Or is Halloween extra busy there?
Why do all the comments make it seem like Disneyland is horribly packed and unfun 24/7?
