  1. New Year’s Eve is usually manageable, so I’m thinking that day would be best.

  2. Jan. 4 for two reasons. One, it’s the last day of winter break so a lot of kids won’t be there. Two, its the last day of Holiday in the park and most of the final crowd wiould go on Saturday (Jan. 3)

  4. I think it’s because Magic Mountain doesn’t do anything special for New Year’s Eve, so a lot of people spend time at other places.
