We are in town visiting from Phoenix and trying to decide to go to USH today Saturday, Sunday, or Monday?
I’d go on Monday. It should definitely be less crowded than the weekend.
So would it be wise to get the FOL passes for the weekend of the 29th? This is a great service you are providing by the way!
I think it might be a good idea on that day since it’s a Saturday during Spring Break season. You can always upgrade at the park if needed.
I think it would be a safe bet. The Hilton and Sheraton in Universal City are booked solid for that weekend except for the suites. I think I’d rather pay the the passes then risk being there all day again and missing 2-3 rides. Thanks!
I am also going on March 30th.. you mention on your calendar that Sundays are less crowded that Saturdays, but as this is my spring break, I assume the park will be busy this day. The Universal makes it seem that FOL passes sell out that day and need to be bought in advance. It is for me and my 2 kids (12 & 14) so the upgrade is $160 – which can buy us a night at Medieval Times (or similar). We don’t mind a 30 minute wait between rides but longer would be tough for us. What do you think?
I think FOL will be worth it since late March is when it should get busier as more schools get out for Spring Break. It’ll make the day a lot easier for you guys since you won’t have to worry about the lines.
On sundays it will always be busy! Last Sunday (No spring break) I haven’t seen a line under 30 minutes. The shortest was 35 for the studio tour and all the other rides were at least 45 – 85 minutes! So if it’s spring break I would really consider to get a FOL passes.
Great day at USH! Small crowds and short lines! We picked a great day to go!
Planning a visit on Monday, March 31st. Will we want FOL passes? Just two of us (1adult, 1 child). Thanks for any tips.
