Sunday 9-15
Pleasant day. Wasn’t with a fanatic, so we didn’t wait 90+ minutes for Steel Vengeance, but everything else was manageable. Longest we waited was 45 min for Maverick, which is always 45 minutes anyway. 20 minutes for Millennium Force. Nearly walk-on for Gatekeeper, Rougarou, Gemini, Magnum. About 15 minutes for Blue Streak. Food lines looked short, too. Overall, got a surprising amount in for accidentally oversleeping and getting to the park a little after 1. Oh yeah, Dragster was down, but I never get my hopes up for that.
I honestly don’t know what is wrong with people. “Cedar Point is terrible because there are lines!” Like it is some new thing. I waited 2 hours for Mean Streak. 2 hours for Disaster Transport. Back when there were less than 10 coasters, you had to wait 2 hours for everything. I have never waited longer for Steel Vengeance than I waited for Mean Streak back in the day, and I didn’t even LIKE Mean Streak. We have an awesome park with tons of world-class roller coasters and people freak out that, gee, maybe people go to the park. I don’t like waiting in lines, but I don’t blame the park for doing something wrong. I’m just not going to go on a Saturday in July.
Also, I have never encountered a rude worker, but maybe that’s because I’m not rude first. I’ve seen plenty of guests berating workers because they insist their precious baby is 48″ when she is clearly not even 45″. And what do you want the person at the parking booth to say when you chew them out for the park being crowded?
I love Cedar Point. I bought the Wild Card early this year and for the first time, I have a Season Pass with the Gold Card. I have been to Cedar Point more this year than I have ever been in one year in the past.

Unfortunately cedar point is no longer fun to visit!! Too many people every single day. Maverick, valrarvn, millennium all down 🙁 pay for an epic weekend at Disney cedar point doesn’t have enough to do when every line is over 120 minutes

OK in the morning on Saturday, 9/14, a small window of opportunity to get some rides done (about an hour from 11-12) and then packed the rest of the day. Good weather + Halloween festivities didn’t help. Probably best to just avoid Saturdays if it all possible. FWIW this day was forecast to be “Hey its alright” on the CC but ended up being a YIP kind of day.

Unacceptable. Busiest I’ve ever seen in 30 years of coming. Sad because I brought two friends who’ve never been. Poor first experience. I’m a Platinum Pass holder. Not impressed with the the Gold Pass flood.

Insanely busy right now. Two hour wait times?!?!? Ridiculous. Part of the problem lies in not having all rides operable or running one train per cycle. Unacceptable. Platinum Pass holder. Not impressed.

These gold passes are flooding the park and making the waits longer than ever. After years of having platinum pass I am really reconsidering renewing. If this is the trend we are done.

Very busy , busiet I have ever seen. Waited 45 on the causeway just to pay for parking. Parking lot was so full people got in arguments with the attendant who then told them, “Then dont come to Cedar Point.” It will be like this now that everyone bought the Gold pass….I am so dissatisfied

Ghost Town my butt! August 26th was supposed to be a ghost town day and it was filled with people. Lots and lots of kids and teens too. I guess school isn’t important when cedar point is open. Long waits for all the rides except roogaroo, steel vengence was broken. It’s not fair that locals have season passes and those of us who drive 5 hours to come don’t get a good expirence. I absoloutely hate this park, thier greed and lack of interest in providing a good guest expirence. I have given them too many chances and today was it. Never going back again. How about new bussiness plan, limited number of tickets sold daily, no fast lane, no more season passes and have adult only days. Kids are rotten, misbehaved, and Unsupervised.

Check the Crowd Calendar to see when Fast Lane is worth buying ("Yup, It's Packed" or "Forget About It" days)
