Monday October 30th 2017 : another Site said that the expected crowds were to be 3/10. Today was 9/10 in reality. Wait times were hours-long. Disney- raise prices and knock it off with the payment plan tickets. It’s making crowd levels miserable for everyone. Our family of 20 gets the most expensive annual pass (for over 10 years now) but it looks like it’s over now. It’s all but impossible to come and enjoy the park because it’s so incredibly crowded.

Go after Labor Day for some of the least crowded days of the year! January and February is also an amazing time to visit, short lines for everything!

-Get to the park an hour before opening. Not joking. If you plan your trip avoiding the “Yup, it’s Packed” or “Forget About It” days and utilize FastPass, where available, it should be the longest line you wait in all day and the anticipation of the park opening is enough to not make it feel too long. You can ride more rides in the first two hours than you will be able to in that much time the rest of the day. If you only choose one piece of Disneyland advice to follow, it needs to be this!
– This goes along with my first tip. If you are parking, get there before the parking garage opens. It makes it easier to get to the turnstiles with an hour to spare before park opening. This is a must follow when driving to the parks. The garage attendants don’t mind you waiting. It also makes it quicker to load onto the trams as you will be one of the first.
-Ride during parade times. My family calls it “Prime riding time!”
-Utilize Toy Story Parking Lot for quicker exiting when it’s time to go home. Also, the toy story buses load much quicker than the trams, in my opinion.
-If you are not going with younger kids but still want to enjoy Fantasyland, make that your first stop. You can ride those rides much more quickly while the park is still filling up. Later in the day, this is not usually the case. We only ride Peter Pan in the morning.
-The line for Pirates is constantly moving. Though the line may seem really long, it actually moves much quicker than other rides in the area. You aren’t standing in one place for too long.
