Well, we are no cheap tourists. We go to Disneyland once a year and drop around $8000.00 for our trip, including airfare, hotel, transportation and passes. We spend a lot of money in the parks too. It’s just very hard to spend so much money on a once a year vacation, and be in line with folks who come every week and talk through all the rides. I don’t hate the passholders – all the ones I’ve encountered have been very helpful. I just wish there was a nice off-season like there used to be. The past few years, that has disappeared. And Disneyland is for EVERYONE, not just the locals. 🙂

Just fyi to you cheap tourists complaining about passholders….. We pay CRAZY money to hold a pass and put up you “entitled” tourists……. We act like its “our” park???? Well…. We financed it and its in OUR backyard so……..ya know, you’re more than welcome to buy an annual pasd without living here….. I had mine while living in NV…. No one is telling you you HAVE to go to Disneyland!

It’s not too bad here today! Pathways are pretty easy to navigate and wait times have been a max of only 20 minutes so far. But it is early.

Weekdays before and after Labor Day are the best! It’s not crowded at all and the lines move fast.

Go right after LA schools go back in session. The park is empty and there’s no lines!

Too many pass holders just hanging out. The woman that checked us out at Target in Anaheim says she goes every day! So crowded and so many people with the attitude that Disneyland is their park so they can talk through the rides, take selfies, and literally tell you to hurry up if you are not walking fast enough in line. It’s the Southern CA passholder’s park and we are in their way.

Go on a hot day to avoid crowds! The place is empty when the temperature is around 100 degrees.

Since the opening of Cars Land and the new Star Wars additions to Tomorrowland, Disneyland is crowded every single day of the year. Even on school days. 75% of the visitors are annual pass holders that decide to come in for a few hours then leave. If you are looking for a good time to to Disneyland aim for the two weeks after Labor Day weekend in September or the last two week of January. Be warned thought that those are considered off season times so not all entertainment nor rides can be available.

Do not go to Disneyland on a Grad Nite, especially on a Friday or Saturday. It is insanely crowded!
